A Special Satsang on May 10, 2009

A regular Sunday satsang day was a special occasion when distinguished saints from Nashville Rev. Prem Sushil visited along with his daughter Rev. Dr. Rieta Agarwal and his son-in-law Rev. Prof. Rajesh Agarwal as arranged by Missions parcharik authorities. The satsang was held in the evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the community hall of Minneapolis senior citizens building. The satsang was well attended. Besides local saints, several invitees attended to listen to the distinguished saints.

As usual, the satsang started with the recitation of Avtar Bani. The stage was conducted by Rev. Bharat and Rev. Prem Sushil presided the gathering. Rev. Rajanbir did throw spiritual light on the philosophy of the Universal Brotherhood Mission. Dr. Reita stressed on the need of surrendering and devoting to the True Master to have fullness of a blissful life. She quoted some lines of a poem of Rev. Bekalji’s collection to warn against forgetting God for sake of this world. Prof. Rajesh stated that man is stuck with evils and vices like anger, lust, attachment, pride, greed etc. The reason being man indulges in worldly pleasures. He sought blessings for man to stay away of these vices. It is essential to remember God always to avoid attraction of the ever alluring material world.

Rev. Prem Sushil got a surgical treatment of his iota artery at the Mary hospital in Rochester in January 2008. On convalescing after three weeks from the surgery and before he was to leave for Nashville, he came specially along with his family to have and give darshan to the Minneapolis Sunday sangat even when it was severe cold due to bad weather. He was kind enough to express a keen desire to relate glowing accounts of the True Master’s grace when he would come again.  On his 2nd visit along with his worthy son by the end of September 2008, they could not attend the scheduled Sunday sangat for their flight to Minneapolis was delayed.  After his follow up appointment at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, before they were to leave for Nashville, they cared to visit on a weekday at Rev. Rajinder’s home where a satsang was arranged to get blessings.

So addressing the satsang on this 3rd visit to Minneapolis, Rev. Prem Sushil emphasized to have full faith in all circumstances in the True Master, who can make our life happy, blissful, and worth living The enlightened people always remember God and pray to be blessed with company of saints so that their faith and devotion for Nirankar Satguru are strengthened further and further. The very purpose of our life is to know the Will of Almighty and to live according to His Will. We should cultivate and adopt Satguru’s learning truly to apply in our life to get the full bliss. By integrating with God and seeking His support we are saved from all troubles.  Satguru relieves us from all sufferings, miseries and agonies.   He related the incidents of his personal experiences and how he remained steadfast to the Mission in adverse circumstances. In this world only a saint is happy because he surrenders his mind to God and integrates with the Almighty who is above all pains and pleasures.

After the Satsang the saint left for Rochester for they had their early morning appointment.
